Not to remember which bits go where I hope... For the dog's sake at least!

We have a dymo printer at work for tagging PC's Servers's Etc Lables always fall off.. I did a load of network cables on Friday and I did not even give it a second thought that I would need to wrap tape over the label, half of them were ready to fall off before I had even moved from putting it on to gettign the sellotape.

So be warned, they don't stick too well.

For cables I've found it best to print it twice with a large gap in between and wrap it round as in the pic.

A quick wipe with Isopropyl will clean off any residues from flat surfaces and have labels sticking well. (Good to have around for fibre ferrules as well TT).

Yeah done some like that, still found a few fall off. I can't take a risk on some cables so it's belts & braces...

I don't care too much on the equipment labling as I know what's what. The helpdesk complain when they can't find Assets... Or find the Asset is now a floor tile :D
