Any one have a part number or year model and engine size polo the rad comes from.

Hi Stephen.
This is the one i am using with 2.0lt zetec. actually VE 334 1.4 /1.6 golf 50mm wider than polo and still fits, also accepts sierra fan switch. £28.70 uk post free.

Looking at pictures the mx5 has both hoses on the left hand side.
Somebody on here will be able to answer that ,

That's the radiator I used on my 1600 mx5. Others here have too and report it can cool their engines. It fits well and the the in/outlets are positioned well enough to work. See my thread for some pics.
Some here have recommended a Mercedes rad which fits and is much thicker.

Radiators work much better when the air passes through the cooling fins rather than escaping around the large gaps between the nose cone and the rad. Electric fans mounted to the back of them also work much better with a simple cowling, there's a product for some one to put in to production.

I hadn't noticed until seeing these that the bigger radiator does not have the small pipe out of the top of the radiator. I have that one and it has been a bit of a pain to get all the air out of the system which would not be an issue with the smaller radiator. I made an inline air bleed in the top hose to get the air out.

you want merc 190e petrol manual, no aircon upto 2.3 iirc
