Can't find this after searching so please help- what's the best size tube to make wishbones- 25mm dia x 2mm wall? Or can I get away with 16guage wall?
Thanks chris

I used 25mm od 3mm wall tubing, they take a fair bit of force and punishment and as they are keeping the wheels attached I didn't want to skimp on wall thickness / strength
Others more learned than I will offer more advice but I broke a Volvo a/r bar on a pothole so erred on the thicker wall tube

Hi,
Did you make sure the tubes are seamless/EWR? That is also very important.
Here is a link to Talon's page about his wishbones:
http://www.talonmotorfabrication.co.uk/shop/4581381144/sierra-book-spec-front-wishbones/10165076
He uses 25x2 EWR tubes. I think we can trust him (personally, I have his wishbones on my Roadster)
Hope that will help :) .
