My copy of Chassis Engineering by Herb Adams turned up this morning :)

I have been out in the hot sweaty workshop most of the day doing some repairs to a rather crusty trailer.

Cutting, Grinding & welding.

Paint & welding fumes. All in all, quite a hard day for me.

I was sitting down, having a good chill out.

The wife says to me " I havn't seen you reading your book "....." Just goes to show how much you wanted that " !!??

I spent the morning cleaning up the workshop.

The postman delivered my second book just as I sat down for my lunch.

Reading the introduction whilst eating a sandwich :)

The wife says " Oh.... and what's wrong with the book you had delivered yesterday "

Everytime I take a break or switch to some other task my wife comes along and says " got that car built yet?" to which I reply "if you went away on a vacation somewhere I would get a lot more done"
And life goes on:)

My favorite with "Her" is...

"What do you fancy for tea????"

"I don't mind, how about sausages and chips.."

"Oh I was going to do Spagbol....."

As you say "WOMEN"...

Ohhh David......How spooky is that

I am often asked what I fancy for tea.

When I tell the wife, she will spend the next 10 mins trying to talk me into having something different.

Bless :D

Hi,
my lovely missus gave me the brand new seats that were for her mini that ive not touched for so long for my roadster.
she found and bid on my nosecone, then my scuttle, and most recently bid on my quantum rear end with lights bootlid and petrol cap(( she got it for a song while i was at work)and it fits).
so i cant complain
oh and she also shows her friends my chassis and tells them how fantastic it is.
and most of all she actually thinks it will be cool to go out in it when its done.
Ray:) :) :)

Ray you have got a good un there :)

My wife does show a mild interest in my build.

Will complement me on a nice job & will bring me oodles of tea.

Now if it was a superbike that I had in the workshop, that would be a different matter.
Out with the polish & chrome cleaner in a flash.
