Bit of a scare this weekend, I've been getting the odd chest pain for a couple of weeks and went to see the local GP on Friday. He recomended some blood tests and an ECG. Came home and though I'll have a quiet weekend, on Sunday morning had a two quite severe bouts of pain and felt unwell. Sue deceided that a call to Kernow Doc was in order, after a lot of questions they sent for the ambulance. So I had X Rays, blood tests and a session on the torture machi....... sorry Tread Mill, with more wires attached to me than an Apollo Astronaut. Thus far nothing untoward has been found but got some more bloods today and have got to keep an eye on the old blood pressure.
I have got to say that the Doctor's, Nurses, Cleaners, Tea Ladies ect were absolutly brilliant.

I hope they work out what is wrong and make you better soon

Try and keep your pecker up Rich.
It is probably the last thing you want, more problems to add to the ones that you already have
No stranger to all of that malarkey, the last few years have seen me in and out like a yo-yo. About time the Westcountry Ambulance Service gave me a loyalty card. :o
They keep putting me on the treadmill even though they know that I have mobility problems. Never managed to complete the first section of the test yet. !!??
I asked the consultant why they insist on trying, he said, " I don't know. Heart stress could be induced with the use of drugs " !!??
Enough about me.
Keep as well as you can Rich, hopefully you'll recieve the all clear. :)

Thanks for the thoughts guys, hopefully they will find out what it was/is. One thing that I did find strange was riding in the ambulance, never been in one before:eek: . Facing backwards and lying down is quite disconcerting, cornering is a whole new ballgame.
And now back to the jokes...............
Eat right!
Make sure you get your daily dose of fruit and veggies.
Take your vitamins and bump up
your vitamin C.
Get plenty of exercise because it builds your immune system.
Walk for at least an hour a day,
go for a swim,
take the stairs instead of the lift, etc.
Wash your hands often.
If you can't, keep a bottle of antibacterial stuff around.
Get lots of fresh air.
Open doors & windows whenever possible.
Try to eliminate as much stress from your life as you can.
Get plenty of rest.
OR
Take the doctor's approach. Think about it....
When you go for a flu jab, what do they do first?
They Clean your arm with alcohol...
Why? Because Alcohol KILLS GERMS.
So.......
I walk to the pub. (exercise)
I put lime in my vodka...(fruit)
Celery in my Bloody Mary (veggies)
Drink outdoors on
the patio..(fresh air)
Tell rude jokes and laugh....(eliminate stress)
Then I pass out. (rest)
The way I see it...
If you keep your alcohol levels up,
flu germs can't get you!
As my grandmother always said,
'A shot in the glass
is better than one in the ass!'
