View Full Version : My week

During the last week or so, I have been having a major clear out of the crap in my workshop.

As a self confessed habitual hoarder & general clutterbug, enough became enough .

Shelves full of starters, alternators & all things automotive, some of this stuff has been in there for up to 20 years, I had long since forgot what some of the stuff was for !!??

Not to mention 4 engines & 3 gearboxes that will never be of any use

I am now the proud owner of a workshop that I can freely walk about in. Heck I can even put a car in there, open the doors & still walk past :D

My inspection pit is now empty as it was intended ( Formerly number 4 stores ) !!

I must now sadly confess to just how much crap was in there

1.25 tone of general heavy scrap metal, 150 kg of alloy castings & umpteen trips to the recyling centre with endless bags of crap. :o

Scrap has picked up a little recently, so the money I was paid has been wisely invested in the Roadster ;)

A few odd jobs left to do.
Next week, full steam ahead on the Roadster. I would love to see the body on the chassis & have the engine running by Christmas.
IVA next spring/early summer !!??

Nope, that's as safe as houses. One of the only bags that was clearly labeled.

Being as I am a bit walking wounded at the mo, seems like a good time to sit on my stool & play with some wiring ;)
I doubt i'll get away with dragging that little lot out over the kitchen floor though  :D

Stoneliegh, it would be nice to think so
