Gents

I have a couple of old manual milling machines for sale; not sure if they are any use to someone in their workshop? Just thought I would post hear as it's a great bit of kit if you have room for it.

It might me limited as they are 3 phase, but its simple enough to change the motor.

1 Nr Bridgeport Conventional Turret Milling Machine with readout - R8 Tooling

1 Nr Ajax Turret Mill with readout. Need to check Tooling

Looking for around £500.00 each and must be collected.

Also I need the space as I have 2 new machines arriving on Tuesday and don't want them left in my build area for to long!

its a late 9inch swing 36inch long bed L5. mechanically its just as good as an m300 but its more rounded without the DRO's. i have got all the change gears and original accessories for it

it weighs about 1.3tonne which is the biggest problem.

its identical to this but all the white bits are green

ok will do. she has been stored for ages as i have two. currently, the cross slide tail stock, chuck, motor, belt cover and suds tank have been taken off and dry stored indoors. lathe bed and bare metal bits was caked in grease prior to storing so she should be in good condition when i dig her out.

both of them come out of a school and were like new as they spent 20-30 years in a classroom covered up not being used

ps; did you do deal with Ginge then ????
sweet.... we,ve had the same saw for a good while now and its quite good indeed
we use ours for allsorts of things and the table to convert it to a scroll saw is just brilliant
we actually used ours once to trim a roll of roofing flashing to size
a lot easier than a pair of tin snips he.he
