Hi all

quick progress update

sorted my insurance to start on friday 26th insured on chassis no for 30 days.

fully comp, 1500 miles, age 21, no no colaims due to only driving a company vehical, 1100cc motorbike engine

make your guesses..

also does it matter iff i dont get my redgistration number within my 30 day window or is it as simple as you just cannot drive it on the road outside of that window if that makes sence.

350 quid(no pound sign on keyboard)
I would check with insurance company as i did the same with the insurance on chassis number and if u fail test and then have to wait for retest may not all happen inside 30 days and they will cancel the insurance and keep your money as you have not met the requirement to supply a registration number within specified time frame.

Sorry, let me re-phrase that. If I change my mind and decide not to emigrate this year due to the job situation and exchange rate (looking more likely), I will be blowing the money on either a Noble or Cerbera. Waiting to hear from WA but looking at the cars this weekend - just in case!

The one I am looking at is the 2.5 TT with 310bhp. And a 4.5 Cerbera - split camps in the household though. Whichever, it will eventually be "exported".

Plan to, although not sure what in. August 10th was d-day (or is that e-day?) but like I say, likely to be postponed. Had a mail from HR in WA saying they have put their international recruitment on hold until further notice and don't want to go without a job. :(

defently the noble 150% certain TVR's as nice as they are are unreliable and leek when ever it gets wet...that said i would not say no to a sagaris

as for my insurance its 380 per year to a vechical value of 10K

Go for the Noble, most TVR leak like a seave and they have stop at every garage, not for petrol but to have something put back on the car.

My friend had a cerbera for about 2 weeks last year it had 1 previous owner and only 19000 miles on it

Week one had a starting problem with the electrics, the afformentioned leaks and the back light filled up with water

Week two something major let go in the engine (not sure what) and it smashed itself to pieces

The garage gave him a full refund and he bought a 911 intead

The short time it was working though it was an absolute monster :D

that is a good price.

my first year on a mk indy with a 1.6pinto for a 17year just passed his test was £1027, the second year is £856.

so it is going down.
