Had my first ever experience of driving on a track today, and all I can say is WOW, HOW MUCH FUN IS THAT THEN!

Had a half day driving a Scooby Impreza STI Group N development car, followed by a (painfully short) stint in a Lambo Gallardo. Never had so much fun behind the wheel.

Promptly came home and spent 5 hours working on the roadster, gotta get it finished asap so I can get it on track and give it some abuse.

Can't wait.

I'm looking forward to my first track day with the Dragon with a mixture of excitement and trepidation, 200BHP and a wide fat torque curve in a 3/4 Tonne car with (hopefully) brilliant and nimble handling is the plan but if it all goes to plan its going to accelerate like dog poop of a very shiny shovel:eek:

It was a place in Oxfordshire called vision motorsport, nice track with one long straight and lots of tight S bends.

Looking forward to trying out Llandow and Pembrey when the car is done though.

Most excellent - it was a track day at Goodwood that got me in to all this. I got to drive an Alfa Romeo with an instructor first so I could learn the circuit. the it was a choice of 2 classics - I picked a Ferrari 328 and An Aston DB4, then it was a few laps in a single seat racer - that was the one I enjoyed most. I wish I had the chance to drive a Lambo - perhaps one day:)
