i know of a chassis that is up for grabs and the problem is its miles away i could colect it but its too far to go and pick it up for me 300miles
so what i need is a courier realy to pick it up for me but who would deal with this kind of item
the main frame is built and theres extras like unmade suspension arms etc.

failing that its going out to buy some roof bars :( and i have no idea how heavy the frame would be
help!

thats a shame, as i was in Exeter last friday, depending where the chassis is/was coming from i could,ve put it on the roof of my van & took it to you, :)

It's not going to be cheap by any normal courrier.. Roof bars and a roadtrip is the way to go.

the chances are ......if you use a carrier to transport this ( tnt etc etc & alike), they will charge you volumetric weight, as it takes up alot more space on the truck & so they charge the extra to cover for the loss of carrying other consignments on the same truck space , if that makes sense? :o
basically, lets say the chassis weighs 60kgs dense weight, but the volumetric weight would more likely be approx 400 kgs ( chargeable).

Can,t you get the seller to meet half way? save on fuel etc , i know i know i,m a tight wotsit :D

I get chassis delivered by pallet couriers they charge between £55-75 each pallet so a chassis goes as two pallets. The drivers are used to dealing with large deliveries so don't complain about a mear 55-60kg.

perhaps there is someone near the seller that can lend a hand in some way?

Where is the chassis?
