Just been to the stockholder and got my ally sheets.

2m X 1m Ally 2mm Tread
2m X 1m Ally 1mm Plain.

Cost a bit more than they quoted via e-mail.. £81

But it's done...

Fitted in the galaxy nicely.

wana get the floor done before mounting the suspension etc....

Most steel companies don't give you the price with the VAT included, so what looks like a reasonable price at the time tends to look worse by the time you get to the bottom line. Some thing I got alittle wrong the other day when I priced a recovery body job up. Have fun with all those rivets!

I think the guy may have quoted the wrong price anyway, I knew it was ex vat. I said I was quoted £40 inc vat, she put down £40 and slapped the vat on, but I think the ex-vat price was even higher than the £40.. worked out about £10 more than quoted, but I think if I got the correct price it may have been more like £30 more than quoted...
