Question for Ash

I thought I would ask this question of you Ash :o

Can you confirm the position of the offset on the mushroom adapter ?

Tis my understanding from reading the book that it sits as far forward as podssible ( Orientated towards the front of the car ) !!?

I ask because you commented on how well your car self centred :)

Going to be ready for the final fitting of the front suspension within the next week :cool:

Don't worry, I'll not be picking on just you .... Going to be picking Dogwoods brains on the string method of setting up the steering / suspension geometry !! :D

the hole needs to be as far forward as you can get it. i lined mine up with the line in the front of the hub casting.

speaking of suspension setup that is what i have been doing today. went out and bought one of those digital inclinometers and used the guide out of the ckc track day supliment. set it all up and the feel of the car is now 100 times better.

Just didn't want to drill my secondary fixing points, just to find out that I had cocked up :D

Mind you I didn't get my CKC supliment cos I didn't get it from Tesco's .... And before you say it .... Yes you did tell us all :D

Are you going to drill into the mushroom? Is this what everone else has done or left it so the mush can be adjusted.
