Lovely day yesterday.
Worked all day outside.

Did some mods on my car trailer.
Plenty of welding, wearing a T shirt.:o

This morning....Ouch.
Bloody sunburn from the welding.

When will I learn.....

Another guilty one here David :o

Still peeling loose bits skin off !! ..... Mind you .... The bleeding weather we have had the last few summers, going to be the only sunburn I get

I notice it's got you right on the fold of the arm .... That's gotta sting a tad .... What you need is a good hot bath mate :D

You can safely say that you was using enough welding current .... Oh .... Your spider looks cool with a burnt ass :D

Might I suggest you buy some welding sleeves, you still get the freedom of a T-shirt but your fore arms are protected from weld splatter. I find proban or nomex material is best as it's not as heavy as leather. Either put some after sun cream or Aloevera on that burn and it will help take the sting out of it. Constant nagging from my missus over the years of 'well it's your own fault you should know better......'

I find it worse this time of year when i am totally white!

Once you get a bit of a tan when the summer arrives it doesnt get you so bad

I was doing a few small tacks the other day without the screen and just shutting my eyes and i got a bit of a redhead the next day :D

And a lot of redneck after being at saturn last weekend, was nice and sunny, the front of their unit is a sun trap.

Managed to avoid getting sunburnt at Saturn, boys managed too more or less!!!

I usualy have something covering my arms when welding, more by chance than forthough.

Having suffered ultra violet burns from welding many times in the past (worst one was after welding some heavy gauge plate overhead with a synergic MIG pumping out 280Amps and unknown to me my overall sleeve had slipped down to expose my wrist) I now make sure I have all skin covered even if I'm just tacking stuff up.
