Today I've started on my pedal box but for the large plate I haven't any 3mm. I've loads of 2mm. Could I use one with some support or maybe two of these instead ?
Cheers

The pedal box takes quite alot of pressure when you jump on the brakes so i wouldnt think 2mm would be up to the job
I would personally make the effort to get hold of some 3mm plate rather than double up the 2mm, Its a car you will have for years to come so just do it proper first time round
Its alot easier than doing it at a later date when its on the road

Pedal box, not pedals! :D
Same here though, 3mm for the throttle, clutch and brake out of 5mm, the clutch seemed a bit flimsy out of 3mm

It is too flimsy out of 3mm, had to upgrade mine as it would easily bend. Make them all out of 5mm now just to be sure. But yes 3mm for the backplate to.
