Here is a little piece of absolutely useless information .... Well unless you are like me & alergic to wasp stings !!??
Easy start, kills wasps stone dead, instantly :D :D
How do I know this ?
This afternoon I was in the workshop & a wasp decided it wanted to play with me.
Nothing handy to twat it with .... Looked for something to squirt it with .... Looked at the WD40 & thought, tried that before, it just Pi**es them of !!??
Just happened to have a can of easy start handy .... One quick squirt & the little blighter droped like a sack of s**t .... Another squirt just for good luck & there it was. RIP
The big bonus is .... It also smells a hell of a lot better than fly/wasp spray, which unlike Ronseal " Doesn't do what it says on the tin " :D

probably freezes them, or intoxicates them.
Should burn well afterwards!

Ohhhh Bother I didn't think of giving it a Viking funeral, that would have been fun :D :D
Just had to content myself, mashing it to a pulp with my rubber mallett :o :o

Wasps, like flies, breath through holes in their skin. Products with long chained hydrocarbons tends to suffocate the little burgers.
We used to squirt em with cyclohexane when I used to work in the lab, that worked pretty well too.
Another useless piece of information. :D

I normally use isopropyl alcohol. I always have it handy for cleaning tape heads and CD lenses but it is miraculous how quickly it kills wasps. It burns nicely too so makes a fantastic make shift flame thrower. You can also spray it in to a receptacle with a tight fitting projectile to make a fine cannon:)

Funny you should say that, I just happen to have some isopropyl alcohol left over from my pyrotechnic days :)
Sadly that hobby has become rather politically incorrect :(
I feel a little fun & games could be on the cards :D

My advice would be to go for it:D When I was a youngster me and my mate used to mix up salt petre, charcoal and sulpher to make a black powder. We used to nick his mum's lipsticks and take the middle out so we could make "genies" - basically a flare. I can't remember where and how we learnt to make it but we had a lot of fun with it:) We got in to his loft one day and to our absolute delight found some shotgun cartridges with some proper gunpowder in them. I seem to remember my mate lost most of his hair and eyebrows in the ensuing experiments:) I weed myself:D
Happy days.

I find a quick whack with the back of my hand gets it on the deck then a huge boot makes sure the bugger doesn't waste any more time...

I think easystart contains a significant proportion of diethyl ether, which would knock off a human as well in sufficient concentrations.

Certainly brings back a lot of memories of happier days of years gone by.
One thing for sure .... We didn't exactly stick to the firework code.
Some of the things we did makes my blood run cold now !!??
