First Proper Drive Out

As you already know i passed my iva on the 20th, well i had my dvla inspection yesterday and i got all my documents at lunchtime today :D

I got my age related plate with no problems

I stuck my plates on and went over to see spud, we went out in convoy in our cars along the seafront, it was great :D

Since then ive covered about 100 miles just showing friends etc, ive loved every minute of it

One thing though, you definately need safety specs on or a helmet as the bugs are mental when you are doing high speed (in accordance with the law of course!)

You would need the glasses anyway even if it werent for the bugs, as it feels like your eyes are getting peeled above 70 :D

Anyway just thought i would share that with you all, i have really enjoyed my day and am over the moon with the car

Just logged on before off to boozer and what a good thread to see - better than the "Jehovah Witness" knocking on the door.....;)

Car looked great in my rear view mirrors - if its done 100 mile i'm sure it'll do Hartside Pass on Sunday without the carbs professionally setting up.

Another one who's now knows what it's all about.....:D
