Just a quick update to share my happy day and hopefully keep everyones motivation going. Its arrived - The GRP nosecone & scuttle from Saturn Sports Cars.

I am really please with the quality of the products, and they are a lot more robust then I was expecting.

I have have clamped it down so that I can get a feel of where to mount all the extra parts - and if the engine is too big for the bonnet!!

Also managed to strip back the loom so that the lighting & engine circuits are seperated.:)

It is nice to get some body work on; I fitted my nose cone before trial fitting the rad then left the nose cone on for a week!

My build day is tomorrow, Saturday was shopping:mad: today we went to Longleat,:D great day out buy the way.

Keep up the momentum.

Cheers Ginge

Looking good! I got a nose cone from Saturn, lovely piece of work. Not looking forward to drilling it for the fixings though - scary moment ahead:)
Keep up the good work.

Looking great Nick  :)

I guess it will not be too long before you drive the build out for a test spin :)

Not to long now I hope. All I need to do before the first test drive is:

Fix snail horns,
Fabricate top radiator mounts,
Fix nose nose & scuttle.
Wire lights and fix with cable ties (Temporarily).
Finish copper brake lines
Finish Handbrake cable
Rebuild injection fuel lines to meter head & mount.
Secure engine bay fuel filter
Make temporary bulkhead & dash.

Then is ready to strip and paint for final assembly!

Looking good Nick,

was going to go for a similar colour but changed my mind when i realised how low to the ground it was (and possibly not very easy to see for our friendly BIG Lorry drivers!)

Must be time for a visit and a cuppa?:)

Thats looking nice Nick, have just seen this having not much time to keep upto date with the forum. Thanks for the feedback, just in the process of remaking some of the molds as certain ones are looking a bit old and tired and the panels need a fair bit of work before they can be sent out.

The way its looking with the nose and headlights your car is looking a very happy car, reminds me of a Thomas the Tank engine character......;)

Keep it up....AndyH
