The most important thing Eternal is to make sure they run true to the BR5 and are 151mm offset from BR12. If you can move the chassis forward a bit, otherwise you'll be off the back of your build table, then draw 2 lines along the outer edge of BR5,6 and mark a line parallel to BR12 at 151mm offset. You can then hang a plumb line from the outer edge of SB1 to get your exact position for the rail. Tack them on with SB2 and check the corners are square.

All the Best.....AndyH

I clamped a short piece of 25x25 to BR5 to align at the lower edge of SB1 then clamped a longer piece to BR5 and tacked a leg to it to hold it up to reach near the top of SB1 this gets the alignment to BR5 square then tacked SB1 to BR12 and then you can check the 151mm offset and jiggle about if needed and put another couple of tacks in place.

good idea lads both are straight using a spirit level and both start at 1118mm wide but the top is 1119mm doh! think the back distance is ok heh shame i dont have a 1m tall set square. im 0.5mm out on the height but the top bar sb2 is nice and level

well you sure are cracking on with it,

tho I do remember how addictive it gets............." I,ll just do this tube"........."Ooh might as well do the next one too" , till the point where I used to get a text saying " Your dinner is in the dog" :D

Took me 11 weeks to have my chassis rolling with suspension & steering column fitted, you,ll be well ahead of that

CP24 is Chris,s little "Book Teaser" :D
