i think most people ar using stock carbs on the cvh engine

should be fairly easy to make one up but as far as i know there are no pre cut manifold plates and the coolent/thermostat link to rad will need to be addressed

think andy from 3ge is thinking of doing manifold plates after speaking to him yesterday why not send him a pm

thanks.
the water/thermostat will be solved by moving the location of thermostat to back of head using a new thermostat housing
i may contact andy

Not many people have done this yet so there wont be many manifolds laying around in peoples garages, a few are in progress on this site and mine is on the road

Most people just make their own, its pretty easy if you can weld

I used the flange cut off the original inlet and welded on some tubes

It doesnt have to be made from aluminium though if you only have equipment to weld mild steel

sounds like a plan. what size tube did you use and do they just come out at 90 degrees or are they angled up?
have you got any pics
thanks

Hi,

here's a picture of one I knocked up. You'll have to excuse gash paint job, it has been addressed since.

My home computer that has my pictures on has died so no pics available at the moment!

Use the same diameter pipe to suit the carbs and try and angle them up so the float bowls on the bottom of the carbs sit level, it may not be possible to get them angled so the bowls are totally level as you may have clearance issues with the bonnet. Mine are angled up but the bowls are just off level but they still work absolutely fine
