I know this comes up from time to time, just wondering what the answer is at the moment? I'm interested in the complete assembly with the upper seat belt mounts, even if I have to do some of the welding myself.

Anyone else have any info on this?

Seems like there is a sales opportunity for some enterprising fabrication business.

I bought mine from ths chap on eBay:

nicholas2528 (http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/nicholas2528/)

It was well made and arrived quckly. He seems to go through phase of selling batches of several then none for a while, could be worth enquiring if he is going to sell anymore.

Link to roll bar on eBay that I bought from him::

Haynes roll bar on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150453293968&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT)

Interestingly, it says two available and one sold, has he still got one that wasn't sold?

I bought it back in June so this link will only be useful for another month or so.

It was £95.00 + £25.00 p & p

If there were were several fourm members who wanted to one, maybe nicholas2528 could be persuaded to make/sell some more?

Hope this is of help.

I'd be interested in one, if the price is right.

That is the one, same as the one from stoneligh works out the same price £120 and it is a nice well made piece of enginering definitly worth the price.

Roll bars are not an easy thing to make, you need a tube and not a pipe bender with a proper die and alot of grunt to bend it. Also the material and construction needs to be considered. It's not a part that can be done cheaply as a one off part. Made as a batch of 10 or 20 would bring the cost down as would mean spreading the set up cost over each part.

I bought mine, custom made, from a feller called welderman who posts on the LCB forum.

Made to measure, and very reasonably priced too.
