hi i wanted to know if anyone could help me please??? :o i have searched through the whole book but cannot see what thickness of the steel is for the suspension & shock absorber brackets could anyone help with this info please:) THANKS!!!

Hi Ricky,
They are made from 3mm steel.

Hi, they are made from 3mm flat bar havent got the book handy but im sure it says on the drawings

Info missing from the drawings on page 184, but easily sussed by checking the details of ones for sale from parts vendors.

also don,t forget that the wishbone brackets & shock brackets are different widths, ;) even tho they are made of the same thickness steel.

sorry if i was stating the obvious...but I,ve seen chassis,s with the wrong brackets welded in place before :eek: ;) :D

no need to shut up advise is good advise and it helps its just that in the book it don't show the thickness of the steel :confused: :rolleyes: but it shows the widths in nice big pictures so that i cant miss unless im blind:) :D

and you right there are some people that have swapped the brackets around and they only saw that after they fully welded it now thats bad:D

Yup...thats what I,ve seen :eek: :D
Keep an eye on parts "U7" & CP24,s ;) easy to get them in wrong place too.
