You beat me to it Mr H.

We're really chuffed with the support from the mags so far and this front cover for Kit Car mag is the icing on the cake. Thanks to Rob and magazine for that. The good thing is that the feature is not just about Saturn but its promoting the Haynes Roadster as much as anything else so between ourselves and Ash the Haynes as a build is really getting a kick up the butt. The mags seem to want to encourage the back to basics of the kit car building which is good for us all.

I've attached a scan of the front cover in case anybody doesn't get the mag.

Big thanks to the people that have helped out with Saturn over the months, you know who you are - especially to HandyAndy who's been a big help.

Thanks.....AndyH

That's MEGA!!

Don't get the mag myself, but hopefully TKC will do an article soon..

Glad they are showing interest as sometimes reading articles on Cobra Replicas with estimated builds starting at £25K does make you wonder if the whole original ethos of Kit Cars has somewhat been lost over the years.

Thanks everyone for the good words, got a stinking hangover and you've managed to put a smile on my face - takes some doing......

Picking up the Rx-8 doner car on Wednesday so its full steam ahead. Hopefully we'll be having a news item in the next issue regarding the progress of the 230bhp rotary based car.

Cheers...AndyH

Cool.

Will have to pop over for a blast in that when it's done. I wonder if the front and rear uprights can be used too..

Have read the article and its first class, well done to all concerned. I have been debating for a while what to build and this has pretty much sealed it. Have had "the book" for a couple of years, bought a welder (still need to learn how to use it properly) but was still procrastinating.

Still working on convincing the wife she does not need any space in the shed for her gardening stuff so it may be a while before the build starts. Articles like this give you confidence that you can build on a budget, with support for the bits you may struggle with or would like done by the professionals.

Its all good, - like twinturbo says about the £25 k Cobra builds - kinda away from the original idea of kit cars - this is right back on track for me.

Yes you've got it spot on there GT, the article is pushing the Haynes as much as anything else obviously benefiting Saturn as well as other suppliers. The Haynes takes it all back to the original concept of the Ron Champion car and book.

The book is an excellent guide to building the car and anybody with a few mechanical skills can put a great car together for a relatively small amount of money.

Well done to Chris Gibbs and Martin Keenan and lets hope the single seater is just as popular.

I too think its a great article, I like the way its written, lots of info thats easy to relate to a wide variety of builders who either want to do everything themselves or purchase parts from Saturn througout each stage of a build.

I,d like to wish Saturn the very best success for the future :) Having Saturn on the front cover of the biggest selling mag in the Kit car industry is one heck of an achievement, & well deserved for all the hard work Spud & his family have put into the business.

Saturn & Spud has been a huge help to me in the build of my car , & thanks for all the trips out in the Saturn Roadster, really keeps the motivation going to get my car finished.

Saturn & the "Book" is a great combination, really putting the Roadster "on the map".
