You made short work of that job Twin :)
The chassis will really start to come to life once you start tacking all of that together
I cut all of my tubes one at a time as I needed them & that was after I square cut the full lengths into slighly oversize pieces ( Just to get it off the floor ) .... Probably the most un-methodical approach in Roadster build history, seemed to take for ever !!?? :o :D

I cut it all slightly over & square for now, as I have to move it all from home (Chester) to work (Portsmouth).
This week I need to sort my build table and start a blog.

It will certainly be a lot easier to transport in kit form :)
I look forward to following your build progress

Well done for cutting it all yourself, I cheated with the kit!!
I am the same as you in that I needed to learn to weld, i bought a BOC dvd on mig welding, and printed off the tutorials from the mig welding forum, bought a cheap welder & mask and off I went. Lots of people go for the college course route, but I didn't like the cost of it or the time it takes. Will look forward to reading your updates.
Good luck, welding is brilliant!!!:D

I'm an instructor in the biggest engineering college in the EU.
should be quite cheap to learn ;)

Hey Twin just been looking at your progress, looking good. I take it this place of learning that you work at doesn't have a big enough budget to run to a floor brush and shovel.

The straw kinda gave me a clue, I have spent a lot of time working in Farm workshops .... The odd bonfire when you are welding keeps you on your toes :D
Once you have your build table made, you'll be good to go with the fun part of the build :) :)
