Can someone come round & give me a slap .... Please form an orderly Q .... Tea & Bisqwits will be provided :D :D

Spent a while yesterday trying to form a cone .... Took the easy route & printed out a template for the blank ( Saves my poor old brain )

Dragged my small rolls out of the cabinet & set too

Formed a rather nice scroll !! .... After a bit of head & nut scratching, I saw the light !!??

This daft old muppett had the rolls set paralell .... How did I forget that :rolleyes:

Got there in the end though .... My s**t metalwork is getting rusty in more ways than one by the looks of things :o

Doh! :D

One of my last test pieces as a plating apprentice was an eccentric cone about 1000mm tall 600mm dia one end and 300mm the other made from 8mm plate with a 2mm tolerance! (quite tight where big fabrications are concerned)

I passed with flying colours at the time, wouldnt even remember where to start with the template now :o
