hi guys

I got up at 7am this morning to get my chasiss rolling.
The diff went in a treat as did the nearside driveshaft and hub assembly.
However when it came to the nearside i cant get the upright into position because it seemed the wishbones werent long enough. Iv checked all rear chasiss and wishbone bracket dimensions and they all seem to be correct.

I had a hunch and took the driveshafts off to measure them, no need really ones a country mile longer than the other......

Am i missing something here? or have i cocked up my rear suspension measurments?

The diff is offset with the crown wheel and planet gears to one side so the shafts are different lenghts. the long moulding mark on the top of the diff lines up with the center mark on the chassis (on my chassis).

Check the ends and the one with the left hand thread goes on the left/nearside,there are marks on the nut/different colour.

the shafts "Do go", just needs an extra shove to get it to seat inside the diff casing, I had the same thing when getting mine on wheels, thought the same as you etc but it does go.

cheers
andy
