Well I've got my theory test and hazard perception test tomorrow morning for my LGV licence, if I pass this then it means that I'll be on my 5 day army driving course to get my C licence at the end of Nov!
My brain is now fried after reading about 60% of the questions in my theory practise book tonight (there are a grand total of 1236 questions! )
And to top it all off I have to get up at 6am to drive up to Catterick to take the test! :(
However it will all be worth it to get my C class licence, as not many people my age have one (especially since your not supposed to get one until you are 21 (I am 20), but as it is for the armed forces you can get one from the age of 18).

Early night for you then, good luck for tomorrow, I had a mate in the army, who did the same thing, went in from school and came out more qualified than I could imagine, driving license, HGV he was well pleased.
Good luck!!!

Well ive just gotten back home and im glad to say i passed! With 97/100 for the questions and 79/100 for the hazard perception, I am definitely pleased with those results :D. So it means I will be going on my driving course either a week on monday or 2 weeks on monday, i can't wait!

Congratulations mate, that's the hard bit done, the next bit seems very easy in comparison! Then the upgrade to C+E is just as easy, well, I thought so anyway!

Well I'm back after 1 very long boring week of driving a 12 tonne wagon around Darlington, but I am very pleased to say I am now officially a truck driver as I passed my cat C test with only 5 minors! So I just need the C+E test and ill be sorted.
I have to say that after only driving a lorry for the past 6 days, getting into my corsa was one weird experience. It felt like a very low sprung sports car with its tiny steering wheel, top notch performance and amazing handling :D :p !

Well done Simon, learning to reverse is fun ;)
