Can't quite add up where he spent £7,500 though, would have throught £2k to get to that stage depending on engine price.

Look closer Mike, a grand for the chassis, a grand for the engine, and £5,500 for the solid platinum brake discs! :D
Maybe the title of his book should be "build your own sportscar on a f*&%ing massively huge budget!"
Would be a good start for someone though, especially if they'll take an offer.

guess they might take an offer.
For £2k you could get a lot of kit from saturn.

He's been offered what it was worth when it was on auction. You'd think a classic car company would realise just how much work and money still needs to be chucked at it to finish it. Does look well done though.

i guess it is worth £2000 it has wilwoods and a V8 in it.
Well what I mean is it probably would have cost about that much to get it to that state.
In my logic anything second hand half the value! In reality when I sold up the first time on my build think I recovered about 2/3 of my cost

I just don't like the way they are advertising it as a doddle to finish when it clearly isnt. The engine could even be siezed. They mention nothing as to its state. "we are advised thst it needs very little work to finish" Yeh whatever ! Who the hell is advising them ?
