Chassis

Hi, how manageable is the chassis when fully welded is it a case of needing someone else to help me move it around ,lifting on it side or turning over etc.

Ive been flipping mine over on my own and its not too bad,

Id say to lift it completely off the build table is a two man job, or one man and a very scared wife :rolleyes:

Flipping it on it's side/back isn't too bad by yourself.

Moving it around and in particular on/off the build table is rather more difficult!
I managed to move it about by myself with the help of a skateboard, but it would have been a lot easier/quicker/less-painful with two people :rolleyes:

Mines not quiet a complete chassis (couple of rear rails still to go) and I can second Will's statement. Flipping it back and forth all the time on my own and can carry it about with some care, but would recomend 2 people for lowering/moving anywhere tricky.

I'm young and live on a farm so I'm not exactly mister average ;)

Thanks guys looking at the chassis now it's progressing a little it struck me,that it might be a little heavy to move on my own. But as you say while it's on the table it will help as I need to turn it over.
