About 10 days ago a pigeon landed in my parents back garden, nothing unusual about that they regularly do.
But this pigeon wont go away, my dad noticed it had an identity ring on its leg so we presume its a lost racing bird.
It sits on the back door step looking through the window all day then roosts on the roof overnight.
My mothers told my dad she is sick of it crapping all over so to get rid of it
My dad chased it round the garden to no avail, so left a line of corn leading to the shed and caught it in there!
He put it in a box and drove about 25miles from his home and let it go in the countryside, the drive back took him about 25mins at a good speed as there was no traffic.
On his return home he got out the car feeling quite pleased with himself walked around the back and the bloody thing was sitting on the doorstep :D
Any pigeon fanciers know how to get rid  or is the only anwser lie in a pie tin ;)
