Hi all, this is the first time i've posted on this forum. The reason being is that when i have a question i normally find the answer from one of the many threads, all good stuff :)
Back to the question, before the obvious happenend i was logged on and noticed a guy from Plymouth but now i can't remember his name or find him again (i think he works for a steel fab/welding company).
Dose any one know him because i would like ask if i can pop around and have a look at his car and chat about all things raodster.
many thanks Nick.

Hi Andy, I've built the chassis and fixed the floor, built the pedal box and suspension. I'm in the process of overhauling all my donor parts and spend a lot of my time looking for parts on ebay. I'm about two weeks away from a rolling chassis (I hope:confused: ). I also have a Vaxuhall 2.0l 16 valve (EcoTec) engine which I intend to couple up to my Type 9 gearbox, the engine came very cheap and its a very good runner. I'm going to get my nose cone from Mark as he does come very highly recomended and i've seen his work first hand at Exeter kit car show last year (I also meet Chris Gibbs on the 3GE stand, nice bloke), I have a few more bits and bobs but that is were i'm at just now and still loving it :)

nice one, lets see some pics if you have some, we all like to have a nosey at other builders cars,:D
what colour was the bodywork you saw at Exeter?;)
theres quite a few builds at a similar stage, mine included.
if you finish your car in time for Stoneleigh show next year then hope to meet you there, as hopefully there,ll be approx 10 or more Roadsters there, a few of us have vowed to have our cars there next year  :D

Thanks AshG, I look out for him the more the merrier.
Nick :)
Hi Andy, the body work was orange and was very good, he also had some other body parts which he brought to the show for customers to pick up and save them P&P, i'm hoping he'll do the same this year but i have'nt asked yet.
As for stoneleigh, that all depends on money although it's my goal to show my car off there and meet more builders.
I'll take some photos later next week.
Nick :)

Hi Nick
I missed your original post, but may it was my post you have seen (almost all got deleted) Although I do not work for a welding firm, I have strong connection with our family owned Precision Engineering Firm and have connection with many welding firms. Send me a PM and you can pop round to see the Roadster. Not done much recently but at about the same stage as you.
I am also called Nick so it may get confusing! Usually a few of us from this area go to the Stoneleigh show, do you are welcome to come up to fill a car. The cost of the show last year was about £15 entry, cups of tea for the guys, and all the beer you want to drink! So all in all for a weekend away its great value.
