Just been on Parker's website, and a sheet of 2mm 2.5 x 1.25m NS4 Ali to do the floor is £78 + VAT! Two 2.5m x 1.25m sheets of 1.2mm NS4 ali to do the rest of the panels is £95! That over £170 + vat just for the ali!
Anyone know somewhere cheaper in Kent / London?
Cheers

That price is about right for ally sheet. Unless you buy alot of it week in week out thats what you'll end up paying. I buy mild steel tube ERW and CDS at a reduced rate because I'm an account holder and the supplier gets a regular order from me. You need to find a friendly sheet shop that you can bung £20 to the 'buyer' to add your order to theirs ;) :D

Glad I was sitting down when I looked at the price for a 2.5x1.25 sheet of 2mm 5 bar. Nearly double what I paid at parker's
(£93 vs £51 both + VAT)
And that size of 1.2mm 1050 is £53 vs £32.
That's a mighty big difference.
The prices from Aluminium warehouse are a lot more manageable. Near as damn it the same as what I paid Parkers in September

to be honest youd be better off gettin to know the laggers on sites around the country, the stuff they use is not the best for flooring but it sure does the job when it comes to panneling the sides and the interior. nuclear sites, petrochem refineries, normal power stations, all these have laggers, theres sure to e some private firms too which, in the same way as steel suppliers have skip loads of offcuts, have skip loads of ally, i managed to get 4 strips of 1.2mm x 3m x 1m and a sheet of 1.2 3m x 1.2m for free by just askin about what they had for scrap, its a long shot, but may well be worth it :) :) :)

I last bought some alloy sheet on 21/09/09 From my local steel stockists
1.2mm half hard was £31.50 +vat & 2mm was £49.50 +vat
Full sheet size of 2500 X 1250
I thought it was quite expensive till I got some local quotes elsewhere, One quoted £96 + vat for the 2mm

Just thought I'd let you all know, if you want some Ali sheet at the moment, Industrial Metal Services (IMS) in Essex were the cheapest by far.
Comparison:
For: 1 off 2mm 8 x 4 NS4
2 off 1.2mm 8 x 4 NS4
Parkers - £205 inc vat
SPA - £147 inc vat
Aalco - £151 inc vat
IMS - £110 inc vat!
These are all based on collection.
Hope this helps someone, IMS are nice guys to deal with, and if you need delivery it's £25 + vat
Cheers
