Went out with the dog on Christmas morning and expected to see loads of kids with new pushbikes or at least a radio controlled car or two, but not a one in the entire village. Surely they can't all be playing computer games, sign of the times I suppose.

We thought the same when collecting gr8 grandad, drove through Burnley suburbs and no kids to be seen...
Mind it was -6 and snow everywhere..
Always seems like a bad idea buying a bike right in the middle of winter!

I went out sledging with a few mates last week (yes i am a big kid at the age of 19 :D), but we didn't see a SINGLE kid out sledging or having snowball fights, how times have changed that playing computer games are better than going really fast down a hill!

It's not that easy to buy a sledge any more. No one will stock them as there's never snow long enough to use them...
This has been exceptional weather for recent times.
