Today on the way home from night shift, I did this:mad:

http://locostbuilders.co.uk/upload/my car lol.jpg

basically, i was driving up out lane, car started going backwards, and wouldnt stop, then it started going up the hegde on the left, nearly tipped over, so i tried to drive the arse up the hedge on the left, but it slid down, and it got wedged!

Did both bumpers, passengerside splash guard on the front, and a grill...

But feel sooooo luck to have saved it from turning over!

Oh dear

Thats one of those photos where you think how the hell did that happen!

I bet you couldnt wedge it in like that again if you tried!

At least there was no other vehicles involved and nobody got hurt

My sister has a c2vts and has had a couple of scrapes in it and ive always managed to get the parts from the scrappy to repair it. I was supprised how many scrap c2 were around for a relatively new car, so worth a look if you need any parts.

The real kicker is that father said to park up in a gateway about 20 yards down the hill. Oh and that it was going into autotrader in febuary because im going for a golf 150 tdi! (german, not french!!)

But as said, no one was hurt, just pride!!

Must be some good scrappies round by you, or lots of bad drivers. I had to ring round more than 10 scrappies to get a wing mirror for my 2002 Citroen C5 after somebody slid into it in the snow before Christmas. Most of them just said, "C5, no way, never, you got be joking Butt!"

Finally found one in Swansea though.

c2's are mainly driven by youngsters hence plenty of them in the breakers either through neglect or crash damage

c5's are all drove by old men that look after their cars so none in the breakers

simples :D

Its okay Graeme my good lady drives a C5 estate and its very handy for the dog and summer camping and she ain't no old fart.....Its not the best car but it does the job but yes Ash is right it is French, then again what choices do we really have - French, German or Jap. The kit car market is the biggest car industry in the UK.....
