Mostyn 7

i am thinking of referring to my car as the mostyn 7. the car is being built on mostyn ave and it has a real ring to it. i need something to refer to the car as and it is not a book haynes so to speak but i am concerned that people may think i am trying to rip of the Austin 7 or ride on the back of its fame.

Any opinions?

You can call it what ever you want till you get taken to court, If you produce hundreds of them you'll get some one's attention. How ever if it's just one car I can't see it being a major problem if it's just a name on the V5.

It sounds pretty cool the Mostyn 7, there should be no problem with copyrights. The only thing is when you get asked where you got the name from and you explain that you named it after your street you may loose the cool factor..

that is very far that naming a car after the street of production but some big bands are named after some pretty rubbish things. i wouldn't need to be specific ether unless probed "mostyn? well that is ware it was built":o
as for actual legality i can not rely see me making enough. one seems like a bit of a challenge.

mines had several names but none of them i would put up here lol
used to call it my kit car but realised that its not a kit its a self build so it gets called my chassis as i cant think of anything better lol
