Well, d-day has been set, March the 8th at 10:30 to be precise!

At that time I'll be sat in the CT scanner to find out if the last 5 months of chemotherapy have worked :)

So fingers crossed........

Kind regards

All the Best John,

we shall all be thinking of you and sure that all will be okay.

Last weekend our syndicate on my line got 5 numbers and one number off getting 6 (came out 7 and mine was 6) - got £800 between 10 of us....:( So better luck than me.

John,

I fully understand everything you have been facing recently. Our family faced exactly the same thing last year. We had just invested so much money into our engineering firm to hear six months later that dad was critically ill. However, 8 months later he is near back to normal and showing me the best way to take the engine out of a Sierra!
Our main concern was work. However, its was amazing our every customer of our suddenly found a reason to order things they did not even need. You have the whole forum behind you as well. I know the Roadster was the only subject we chatted about for 6 months.

Well, I was in first thing for No5 today, the only problem with that is you have to fight the traffic into Exeter!

This was worse than the last one, the chemo actually made me sick this time round, and it's only now that I'm begining to feel OK.

Thanks for the kind words and support, it does help having the forum for support, more than you would ever know.

Andy H, 5 numbers was only £8000  you'd have thought it would pay out more than that, after all you were only 1 number short.

Kind regards

John

It's got to be all worth though in the end.

You, misread though it was only £800 unless i've been shafted (by other than Camelot) it's only £80 each.... We got 5 numbers aswell last year and it was £1500. It's all a bloody additional tax rip off. I only do it cos its a pub run syndicate.

Take Care John......AndyH

£800, that makes it worse!

I was chatting with the consultant today about it and he said that it can be accumalative. Thank god i've only got one left. But you're right Andy it's worth the short term discomfort and things could have been far worse. I think i've been lucky, some people aren't so fortunate.

Kind regards

John
