I have finaly decided who I want to be, when I grow up :)

Ken Block (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4TshFWSsrn8&feature=player_embedded)

Quite a long video clip but ken's car controll is awesome

I expect a lot of you have seen him in action but a new one for me, real eye opener too :)

I was just thinking how long will those tyres last, then the sparks come and answered my question for me, thats some car control.

It is cool.

But He's not WRC world champion. Would be interesting to see him do that head to head with Seb Lobe.

We saw both Ken Block and Seb Loeb at the Goodwood Festival of Speed back in July and their car control is absolutely awesome! Molecombe (a left hander with adverse camber) is a corner that has claimed quite a few drivers who weren't quite with it, (this year we saw a guy stuff a 1938 Alfa GP car into the bales sideways at high velocity there:eek: ) but KB and SL were both taking this corner extremely sideways and frighteningly quickly.

Block is obviously talented, but I wonder when seeing that if he can string it all together? There are about 200 or so clips, different camera angles etc etc, so it must have been shot quite a few times. I wonder if they were really all perfect takes, or whether it was done 50 times and they got enough footage for one complete run..... atleast thats what I hope to make me feel better :D

Now I have too much "self preservation" built in. :D

Kind regards

That is just sheer insanity John

Yep, that would be me .... Laying in a heap at the bottom of the ramp :D

That's if my one & only attempt at staying on a skateboard is anything to go by :o :o

The tower seems to have been a very succesful video, have been sent links to it 4 times from different places.

I've been most impressed by the first Ken Block Gymkhana video I've seen. Although, objectively, they keep getting better and better, most stunts keep reappearing, so the first one you see has the most impact.
