Hi all, the bug bit back a couple of years ago after reading the Ron Champion book and then numerous kit car shows with the wife in tow. After finally deciding I will never save enough money I am going to bite the bullet and start my build...then I found the Haynes roadster book... the heavens opened and I knew it was now time. So, I am looking at getting a built chassis, my pokey garage is way to small to start fabricating the chassis in. The rest I can do. I have a sierra and a 2.0 zetec to put in. Now for thr newbie questions. Whare is a good place to buy a chassis? I am looking on the bay at the moment, there are a couple of what looks like good deals I am watching. Any help would be appreciated. Is there anybody near to me( New Milton, Hampshire) that wouldn't mind me having a look at their build for some ideas, beer is available...hahaha
Thanks in advancve
Shaun

Welcome to the mad house!
Saturn Sports Cars can sort you out with a chassis ;)
As for the zetec, is it going in before or after IVA? If it's going in before, you'll need to fit a cat on the exhaust to pass the emissions test :)

Hi Shaun,
Welcome, I know New Milton well, a friend of mine used to work very close to there, often had to detour to pick him up :)
The Exeter show is 23rd/24th of October, it's not too far for you to travel and you could meet up with a lot of forum members.
Kind regards
John
