A mate knocked the door this morning to ask if he could borrow some tools. This wasn't a problem but a little unexpected as he has a bigger garage than me and a shed load more tools.
He was just finishing off a 3 year restoration of a Triumph Spitfire, came home from the pub yesterday to find his garage had been torched. Roof had collapsed in, crushing the spit under it.
Can't imagine how gutted he feels.
And by the way he needed the tools to remove a couple of parts from the spit that weren't crushed or burned to see on ebay before the shell gets weighed in.
just can't believe some people will do this sort of thing...
