Hi,
The carb on my 2 stroke flymo needs cleaning. Will a good soak in paraffin be enough.
Cheers
Pete
p.s. Roadster on hold for a few months - too depressed with it at the moment.

When cleaning out 2 stroke carbs I have always taken them apart, cleaned them with carb cleaner (from halfords) and reassembled. Works fine, everytime.

while your at it, id sugest getting a carb kit. As they are so fiddly, its a good idea to change the diapham and rubber seal at the same time. If its a walbro/zama carb try george carr power products, they charge about a fiver.
With chainsaws at work, we normally strip the carbs and soak the blocks in carb cleaner overnight.

Thanks lads,
The carb is a Dellorto and as I type it is soaking in carb cleaner. Will look into a kit for it.
Cheers
Pete
