Does anyone know where to get the tube to extend the steering column and what kind of price I should pay?
Cheers

We have some 3mm wall tube here you can use David, if you measure your column length and bring it down we'll weld it up no probs.

You might also need a "group 4 " coupling & a splined shaft to connect your extension to the rack, both available from Rally Design, maybe Saturn has them in stock too ( not sure ).
I think the splined shaft is approx £22 & coupling approx £15.
It all depends how you intend to make the connection from steering wheel to rack on what bits you,ll need, plus the 3mm wall tube as above from Saturn.

Thanks Spud and Andy. I am going to get the coupling and extension bar as soon as possible. I will then pop down with the bits and the measurements to get it welded up but will probably be after xmas. In the mean time I am in the process of fitting the metal brake lines which is good fun.

there is two sizes of shaft fitted to sierras so be careful
i had one of each one was cast/forged and fatter than the rolled steel thinner
type
i had no room to fit the fatter type as d1 was too far in :(

thanks Baz. The column I am using is from a MX5 so it will hopefully fit.
