turned myself a gear stick knob what do you guys think to it?

They all look good guys, not too sure how comfortable the one with holes through it will be though Deanno.

In edit: one thing I will say is aluminium gearknobs are bloody cold to grab hold of first thing in the morning or when the weather is cold. I only know this because the cruise control systems I fit used to include an alloy gearknob with the cruise control buttons set into its top.

it is suprisingly comfy, my mate used it in his MX5 for a bit an he said it felt nice and being Ally it's very light too.

Yeah I will be turning some more with different styling. I have seen ones like mine on eBay for £20 so I'm saving a bit of money making my own.

The MX5 has a very heavy gear knob and a lot of aftermarket gear knobs for the 5 are made of stainless to be even heavier.

The heavier knob much improves the gear shift quality. A light knob is not a great idea :eek:
