Hi there,
I was wondering would a ron champion locost nosecone fit on the roadster? I read somewhere that it needs to be widened?
Thanks very much,
Darryl

Yeah i was thinking that! :(
I might give it a go! In school, there is alot of sailing and theres a sailing centre where they do fiberglassing repairs etc, so il ask tomorrow for advise from them!!
Thanks,

Before you cut it in half make a simple splash mould about 6" to 8" right down the middle including the rad opening and anything below that. Then cut the nose right down the centre. Use the splash mould as a jig to hold the nose to the right width then simply 'glass up from the inside and bob's yer uncle fanny's wotsit.....but you will have some filling to do to blend things back in so it will never be a gel coat finish.
Simples really

None of the Locost parts will fit without modifying.

Too be honest unless the Locost stuff is either very very cheap or free it's not worth the hassle as you will have to paint it and painting costs a fortune these days.
