hi peeps,
been a while since i last posted any progress, been mega busy with uni work and earning work so not had much time to work on the roadster. finished all my assignments and wot not a few weeks before easter so had some time to work on the car so a lil update and those all important piccies.
first finally got the chassis finished and painted a few weeks ago. used hammerite, thinned down with white spirit and in a gun, got quite a nice finish with it but missed a few bits here and there that will be patched up after some slight alterations and a VIN plate welding in.
also got a sheet of 2mm ally and got the floor cut and riveted in.

bought some bodywork from nathan @ NTS just after christmas which has been sat gathering dust ever since.
some seats and harnesses off ebay too with a set of runners for drivers side only £200
and last week some nice rear disc brakes from rally design with all the brackets and wot not to convert from drums. and master cylinders, brake pipes and unions, b/light switch, a flaring tool p-clips and some steel tube and acetal bar for the pedal bushes.
all of which is being stored in the house whilst im away at uni (which is driving the mother/tea maker :o completely insane)

also made a bit of progress on the pedal box with a slight re-design to give about an inch more foot room and make me seem taller

been doing a bit of part cleaning and painting too, wishbones are now black along with front and rear hubs, the diff is almost shiny ally again, will be starting the gearbox and engine when the diff is done.
so the next jobs are finishing the pedal box and running the brake lines, after that the rest of the bodywork, wing stays and front brakes then get it back on its wheels
and advice or constructive criticism is always welcome.
Cheers
