After exactly 50 months of building to the day, I have the pleasure to announce that I have finally completed my Roadster! Yipiee
All I have left to do is few snagging items, apply for the IVA and purchase a new set of Tyres.
This may have to wait a few for another few months as I will also be getting married on the 10th September 2012.
I am hoping to take the car to the Exeter Kit Car Show next month if I can find a trailer, although I am unlikely to have sorted the IVA by then.
I would like like to say a big thank you to all the guys on this forum for all the support with my build. I have seen lots of builds start, finish and be sold during my my time on the forum, but know that I have made a lot new friends here.:)

I would check the kill switch is going to pass the IVA radius test though as it may well not.

Cars looking really nice. Don't want to be a keyboard critic but that cut off switch on the dash will be a radius fail won't it ?
All the best with Iva.

well done spike dont worry about the time it has taken you cant rush perfection you know
i was just thinking i cant remember how long i have been building mine but it must have been a while as ash was giving me a hard time at donnington
im sure you could just put a shorting link and remove the key for iva if it a problem

Thanks guys, I knew that kill switch would cause some comments, its been built so that I can unbolt it for the iva where I will insert a plastic plug / plate over the hole. Should take all of 5 mins to do. I wanted to keep the Kill switch on for now as it saves me removing the bonnet each time to disconnect the battery. It's amazing how quick you can work through a snag list after building a whole car. I went over the rear tub section today checking all bolt lengths, clips, grommits etc and fabricated a cover plate for the fuel pump and filter. A few more bits to turn up from ebay to fit.
Do you require a tyre weld repair kit, / jack & spanner for the IVA?

Nope, you don't need anything like that on the car. Of course everyone takes tools along for the day as if he asks to see something, you have to gain access to it, or show photos.

That looks great, have you had a chance to smoke it round a track or disused carpark yet? Or is the trip to iva going to be its maiden voyage.
