Thought I'd start a dedicated thread as I'm gonna ask you guys for a lot of identification of various bits on the loom and I'm sure there will be others that will benefit from the help.... so thanks in advance
OK, first item (in this thread)
It's on main loom, just up front he imobiliser horn connector

A bit late tonight to answer, but I'll check tomorrow on my donor (Sierra 2.0i DOHC), as the loom is still in the car (I plan to remove it this week), so I might be able to identify it if it is still time.

Nice on cheers.... I think it maybe the bonnet latch/switch connector so if you could check that first it may be quicker
Thanks again

Are you going to try and strip down the main loom rather than build fresh?
Not sure on that connector without taking my car apart but 2 things spring to mind. Sunroof feed and fag lighter, but could be wrong on that.
Can't find the sunroof in the diagrams.

It is just the horn connector. Here is where it is connected on the steering column.

A bit unsure to be honest.... at the moment I'm just trying to strip out what I definately don't need... there appears to be a whole bunch of relays for dimmers/daytime running etc so don't know if it's worth:-
a) Starting from scratch on the horn/lighting/rad fan etc and just using the main loom
b) Trying to use as much of the original loom as possible
c) using the main loom, binning the rest and splicing in a premier loom
At the moment probably will go for option c but thought I'd give it a go anyway
For those familiar with car electics it probably sounds relatively straight forward but for a newbie looking at stripping a fuel inhjection loom from everything else for the 1st time is a bit daunting

Stripping the EFI loom from everything else takes ~30 Seconds.

OK decision made... option C it is.
Just spoke with Alan from Premier wiring... what a top bloke.
Basically going to keep the engine managment loom, strip the wires from the ecu/eng mgnt loom back to within 2" of the fuse box. Get rid of the original Fuse box but keep the relays and the premier supply a new loom with relay holders, fuse box and will crimp up some connectors (for steering column stalk if you want him to). £160 delivered within 2-3 weeks with fuse box and wiring diagram... for the amount of time I would take faffing about £160 is a good option for me.
Thanks all for your help in checking connectors out for me it was appreciated
