Agreed... Would all be very different if they hadn't laid down their lives. First time I've been in Tesco at 11 and they had 2 minutes silence. All staff and some of the customers all stopped what they were doing and observed it

I was at Notts services and the staff in whsmiths stopped and stepped away from the tills and everyone was silent, was very a very touching couple of minutes.
