Carl i would move the steering bearing behind the bulkhead. i only say it because when i had my iva they said there wasn't enough space for the steering to collapse and gave me a fail for it.

mine is like this now

It's inside the engine bay bolted to the bulkhead,

thats how mine was they made me move it to the foot-well side

How far back from the bulkhead did you need to move it mate 20-30mm?
