My boss has given the day off with pay and what does my wife have me doing ?

B****y painting the spare room, when i should be in the garage cleaning up my wiring loom. :mad:

Suppose to be taking a Tele-Handler test tomorrow, don't think thats going to happen now either.

My mrs has given me my orders for christmas eve.....:eek: I,ll be spending hours putting together loads of prezzies for the kids, one of which is so big that it can,t be built before hand as we,ll have no where to hide it , the instructions are like "War & Peace" but the mrs says if I can build a car then I should be able to make the prezzie .....I couldn,t argue with that :rolleyes: :D

That's the trouble with being "Handy............Andy":D

My Mrs is golden, we broke up on Friday, well I did she still has to go work for our daughter for four hours a day. I was supposed to spend yesterday and today working on the front room decorating, no not the Chrimbo decs actually decorating like hanging wallpaper etc. Got to start off by sanding the walls but I ran out of sanding discs Saturday afternoon and refused point blank to go to Been and Queued on a Sunday as it would be hell on Earth, I said I'd go today.

But then I found a bargain trailer on Ebay yesterday afternoon and bought it, then arranged to collect it today. So I've been over to Norfolk today in the camper (its the only vehicle we own with a tow bar) to collect it, just a 310 mile round trip that took 8 1/2 hours and the Iveco heater is about as much use as a couple of candles to heat a church, highest temperature acchieved in the van today was 13 deg C :(

The good news is the trailer is fine and tows like a dream, oh and I can now feel my toes again!

The instructions show all the part numbers, it even has parts SB5 & SB6...I thought "Oh noooooooooooo" not more compound angles :p :D

And no, its not a minature Roadster :)

As for a day off....as from tomorrow I think I need to down tools as must get the mrs a prezzie....been too busy making 5 kits in the last 2 weeks ( all ready for despatch now).

ive finished decorating the nursery ....... trouble is the thing that goes in the nursery is getting closer and with fixing the boiler every 5 mins ive not had time to get on with my car to get it to my goal of 4 wheels on under own weight with engine diff fitted by christmas.:(

its close but not using sierra as a donor has thrown an expected spanner in the works ! so close but the bloody boilers fighting me every step aswell

still we all have to venture into the household world every now n then.

i dont really feel the cold in my lidl overalls tepted to buy her a pair and cut my heating bills by two thirds !
