Hi everyone just a quick post to introduce myself. I've been reading this forum for 6 months now deciding whether i had the necessary skills to "build my own sports car" (and the answer is probably not) but i've finally lavished enough gifts on the wife for her to let me try and do it anyway.
I decided to go for a flat pack chassis which i ordered of Andy the other day, that should be here in a couple of weeks, which leaves me just enough time to clear the garage and atempt to learn to weld!!!
So apologies to everybody in advance for the hundreds of impending and possibly stupid questions that i'll be asking.

Welcome to the forum Steve.
As you've been reading the forum you will be aware that there is lots of useful info on here.

Check the amendments thread (http://www.haynes.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=2430) as there are lots of guides in there.

Have fun and feel free to ask the most simple of questions we've all been there at some point.

Welcome,

A lot of people think they can't do it ( it's building a car after all ) but when you break down to the bits and bobs then each stage is less daunting.
