Hi Guys,
It's been great being part of the community here on the forum, but as of the start of February I will be a wage slave again.
The down side to this is that I won't have the time to dedicate to running 3GE so will be shutting shop at the end of the month.
It's not a choice that was easy to make as it is so much fun, but there are only so many hours in the day and what is left I'm going to spend with my family :D
I shall poke my head in from time to time to see how you are all doing.
Kind regards
John

Here's wishing you all the best for the future John :)
At least being a wage slave will help to remove to some of your day to day stress ;)
Hopfully, you'll be able to spend a lot more quality time with your family
I hope it all works out great for you John :)

It's sad to hear that 3ge is closing they have been vital suppliers for most of my parts (along with saturn). so no more cheap shock group buys?
All the best for your new job John:)
PS does this mean your gonna have a closing down sale? hehe;)

Thanks John,
For all the help with parts over the last year. :D
I can sympathise with being a wage slave had to do the same thing six weeks ago after running my own business for 12 years.
But it is nice to finish work and not have to worry about whats happening the next day.
All the best for the future.

John,
sorry to hear that you and your colleagues (Keith & Tony) are wrapping up 3GE.
It was nice meeting you and having a chat down at Exeter last year when I picked up some of my parts.
Thanks for your help, advice, quality parts and good service.
Good luck with your new job.

That's a really difficult move to make John but really do wish you all the best for you and your family for the future.
I've been away from being a wage slave for 6 years now and certainly would find it very hard to go back to, even though it would be less stress and a guaranteed wage at the end of each month it's just not the same.
All the Best.....Andrew

John,
I have been a fairly low key contributor to this site over the last year and a half or so, but would like to publically say a big thanks for your efforts and a personal thanks for the suburb quality of workmanship and service for the parts I have bought from you in that time. I hope you enjoy continued good health and quality of life as pressures from running your own business are lifted.

That's a real pity. Having built a business myself and now finding myself running 3 I know just how demanding it can be, especially in the current economic climate. Sometimes I miss the wage packet(about every day, actually) but I do enjoy the freedom. I don't always enjoy the buck always stopping at my desk, because there is nobody else to share the blame with :D Hope whatever you do works out for the best.
Dave.

Don't tell anyone but John is into wearing strange shoes, as in the high heel variety. Keith has been known to wear a dress while Tony was last seen with some funny red stuff on his face.....:D
Just a wee jest...all the best maties and by the way the heels are a bit too high:D
